Nine Days Left!!!

Good evening World!

So as of tomorrow morning there are officially nine days till Colorado! I'm very excited, nervous, scared, happy, sad, so much that I don't know whether to laugh or cry and when I do I don't know if it's because I'm happy or sad. I'm going to miss so much here in Wisconsin, but I just can't wait to see what the world has in store for me!

Tomorrow my mom and I are going shopping for some supplies for the trip. Right now I'm doing lots of laundry so that I can start packing and decide what I'm taking with me and what I'm putting away in a box and in storage. I move out of my apartment next Wednesday, which means everything has to be done and packed by then. From Wednesday to Saturday I'll be staying at my mom's to help my kitty feel more comfotable about her staying with my mom.

That's about it right now, except for one last thing; I found a quote on a friend of mine's facebook account. I don't know whothe quote is by but I thought it was perfect for Up With People's Cast A 2007...so here it is, have a great night!

Woo Hoo!

Good afternoon! So I bought my plane ticket and health insurance today! Big deal, right? The plane ticket in non-refundable, which means I'm going to Denver! So here's my most recent update. As of today, I'm still about $5000 short. I'm staying optimistic...hence, my plane ticket. So if you know anyone, that can still give me a hand with this final boost send 'em my way! Thanks everyone!

16 Days to go!!!

Good Morning, World!

Well, this morning would be exactly 17 days till I jump on a plane and head for Denver, Colorado leaving everything I know and love behind for five whole months! It's going to be hard, but I think I'm really ready for this next step and I hope you all join me along the way and leave lots of comments for me to read!

So this is how this site is going to work:

Every chance I get I will log my thoughts and experiences.

One of the most important parts of this journey is interaction with people from all over, which means it's really important for me to interact with my readers as well. So if you have a reaction to something I'm doing or just want to say "hi" please do! :)

I will post pictures as often as possible, so check back often to see what I've been up to.
