- Hi! I'm Jessica Walters from Wisconsin, USA. In March of 2006 I was accepted to participate in the Up With People Global Education Program. I will travel for 5 mo. with this program to three continents impacting the world in a big way while learning about different cultures and the importance of diversity. A little about me- I'm a 23 year old junior at UW-Milwaukee. My major is in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English and a minor in Spanish. Outside of school I work full time and enjoy doing lots of volunteer work for many people and places. I love meeting new people because you never know what you might learn from them! I have one very crazy 14 pound calico kitty named Angel. And while I'm away she will be staying with my very crazy family :)- My mom (Jane), sister (Julie), niece(Alexis), and two other cats(Cally and Tanner), and a dog(Snoopy)!!! As of January 6th, 2007, my home will be the Up With People Cast and the homes of the kind host families who will volunteer to have us be part of their family for a week.
